Drinks planner builds a party shopping list
Mixmatch.dk is the first platform in Denmark where customers book drink experiences directly with the talent - no agencies, no salespeople. Bartenders, sommeliers, mixologists, and creative hosts list their experiences and manage their own bookings. We built the full product from the ground up: strategy, UX, visual identity, and a custom booking platform.
Phase 1 went from first workshop to live product in 7 weeks. The platform also includes an AI drinks planner - customers describe their event and it builds a tailored shopping list around the experience they've booked.

The challenge
The challenge wasn't just building a booking platform - it was making it feel as good as the experiences being sold. We needed something with real personality, where a host's passion came through before anyone clicked "book," while keeping the booking flow fast and trustworthy for both sides. Two very different users, one product.


We designed for both users at once: a guest who wants to be inspired, and a creator who wants to be trusted. The visual system pairs bold photography with a calm, typographic layout - warm enough to feel personal, clean enough to build confidence.
The design process was built around close collaboration between design and development running in parallel. We developed a flexible design system that ensures consistency and scalability as the platform grows - new creators and categories can be added without breaking the visual language. Careful attention was paid to every touchpoint: how a host profile reads, how the booking confirmation feels, how trust is communicated before anyone has paid for anything. The result is a cohesive experience that works across all devices and earns confidence at first glance.

The solution
The platform takes guests from discovery to confirmed booking in a few taps: browsable experiences, detailed host profiles, secure payment, and the AI drinks planner for event prep. For creators, a clean backend handles menus, availability, and client communication - no intermediaries, no overhead. Phase 1 delivered the full platform end to end. Phase 2 added features and UI refinements based on real usage. Forty creators joined in the first 90 days. New ones are joining every week.
