Mixmatch.dk is the first platform in Denmark where customers can book unique drink experiences directly with the talent — no middlemen, no salespeople. The platform connects customers with passionate bartenders, sommeliers, mixologists, and creative hosts who bring unforgettable drink experiences to life, from private cocktail nights to themed tasting events.
Our team was responsible for the full digital product design and development, building Mixmatch.dk from the ground up — including strategy, user experience, visual identity, and a custom booking platform.

The challenge
Mixmatch.dk set out to transform how people discover and book drink experiences — making the process personal, authentic, and effortless.
The challenge was to build a platform that felt as lively and inspiring as the experiences themselves, while ensuring a smooth booking flow for both customers and hosts. We needed to create a trustworthy, modern, and intuitive interface that balanced storytelling, personality, and usability — all within a seamless end-to-end digital journey.

We approached the design process with a clear focus on clarity, warmth, and storytelling. Our goal was to build a digital platform that felt inviting and human — a space where users could instantly sense the personality and passion behind each experience. The design needed to reflect the authenticity of real people offering genuine moments, while maintaining a simple and intuitive interface that anyone could navigate effortlessly.
To achieve this, we developed a clean and modern visual identity that paired bold photography with a calm, elegant layout. A flexible design system ensured consistency and scalability as the platform grows, while close collaboration between design and development teams allowed us to translate ideas smoothly into a polished, high-performing product across all devices. The result is a cohesive experience that feels engaging and trustworthy.

The final solution was a comprehensive digital platform that brings together customers and drink experience creators in one seamless environment. We designed and developed a system where users can easily browse curated experiences, view detailed host profiles, and make secure bookings — all within a clean, intuitive interface.
For bartenders, we built a streamlined backend that allows them to create menu, manage schedules, and communicate directly with clients without intermediaries. The experience was crafted to feel effortless from both sides — combining functionality, trust, and personality in every interaction.
